Jean Hailes for Women’s Health and Priceline Pharmacy are launching a 3-year partnership to give pharmacy teams across Australia evidence-based women’s health training and information.

Getting help at the pharmacy counter

For many women, the local pharmacist is one of the first health professionals they turn to with a question. A conversation at the pharmacy counter can give a woman the information she needs to make choices about her health or help her decide it’s time to seek further care.
That is why Jean Hailes for Women’s Health and Priceline Pharmacy have come together in a new 3-year partnership with a shared ambition: to help more women across Australia access trusted information, feel more confident about their health and get the support they need at every stage of life.

Jean Hailes brings its clinical expertise and decades of experience in women’s health education. Priceline Pharmacy brings a national network of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants working in communities across the country. Together, the partnership brings evidence-based women’s health information into local pharmacies, where many women already go as part of their everyday lives.

“Our work with Jean Hailes on menopause has shown the impact we can have when trusted clinical expertise is combined with the reach and accessibility of our pharmacy network”

A partnership for women’s health

The partnership builds on work that began in 2025, when Jean Hailes developed menopause training for Priceline Pharmacy. More than 3,500 pharmacy team members have now completed the training and since then, their confidence in supporting women experiencing menopause has risen from 52% to 87%.

That represents thousands of professionals who are now better placed to have informed, supportive conversations with women about a stage of life that is often misunderstood and can be difficult to navigate.

Over the next 3 years, the partnership will continue to bring the two organisations together through further women’s health education, training and awareness initiatives.

Supporting better conversations about women’s health

“Pharmacists and pharmacy assistants are often the first health professionals a woman speaks to about a health concern,” says Dr Sarah White, CEO of Jean Hailes for Women’s Health.

“Our menopause training showed what’s possible when pharmacy teams have trusted, evidence-based knowledge to draw on. This partnership lets us build on that success, so more women across Australia can get accurate information and support close to home, at every stage of life.”

“Our work with Jean Hailes on menopause has shown the impact we can have when trusted clinical expertise is combined with the reach and accessibility of our pharmacy network, says Corrina Brazel, General Marketing Manager at Priceline.

“By equipping our pharmacy teams with evidence-based knowledge and greater confidence, we can help women feel more supported when they have questions about their health. Through our three-year partnership, we’re proud to build on this foundation and continue supporting women across Australia at every stage of life”
