Bladder & bowel

When trying to understand what a healthy bladder and bowel are, it is helpful to know how your bladder and bowel work, what is normal and what is not normal.

Bladder or urinary incontinence is common. Bowel leakage can also occur and can be a very embarrassing topic to discuss. Different types of incontinence, urinary tract infections (UTIs), bladder, bowel and vaginal prolapse, constipation, diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and bowel cancer are all discussed, along with helpful tips to manage and treat these conditions.
