You can see one of our general practitioners (GPs) without a referral for:
- cervical screening
- breast examinations
- vital health screenings (BP, cholesterol, blood sugar)
To note, you do need a referral from a GP to see a gynaecologist or endocrinologist. Once we receive your referral, we medically review it (triage) to assess urgency and match you with a clinician.
We have many specialised clinicians available. You can see one of our specialists for the assessment and management of:
- PCOS
- premenstrual dysphoric disorder
- irregular cycles
- weight gain because of hormonal conditions.
These services cover:
- Pill consultations
- IUD/implant insertion/removal
- contraceptive injections and rings
- pregnancy testing
- emergency contraception through your GP, pharmacist or clinic nurse.
Care for perimenopause and menopause, including:
- hormonal and non-hormonal therapies
- treatment for symptoms like low libido and vaginal changes.
Specialist care for:
- menopause hormone therapy

- pelvic pain
- incontinence
- endometriosis.
You’ll need a referral from a GP to see a gynaecologist.
We offer:
- cervical screening, and ThinPrep tests (all of which we forward to the Pap Test Registry)

How to book an appointment
You can book an appointment with a women’s health GP without a referral.
A referral from your GP is recommended if:
- your medical history is complicated
- or you’ve recently had tests that might be relevant to why you want to see a GP at our clinic.

New patients
If you’re new to the clinic and want to see an endocrinologist or gynaecologist, you’ll need a referral from your GP. Your GP must send this referral directly to our clinic.
Once we receive your referral, it will be medically reviewed (triaged) to:
- prioritise urgent cases
- match you with the most appropriate clinician.
We’ll contact you to arrange an appointment once the review is complete.
Existing patient following up on an existing health issue
If your last appointment was within the past 12 months:
- your original referral is still valid
- call 03 9562 7555 to book a follow-up appointment.
If your last appointment was more than 12 months ago, you’ll need a new referral from your GP. Your GP must send the referral to our clinic.
Existing patient with a new health issue
If you need to discuss a new health issue, your GP must send a new referral to our clinic.
Medicare requires this to ensure you receive timely care with a clinician best suited to your new health issue.
You don’t need a referral if you want to see a:
- naturopath
- physiotherapist
- psychologist.
Some of our services are available through a quick online consult.
Simply send an online request and your GP will respond. This usually takes one business day.
Reminders and cancellations
One week before your appointment:
- we’ll send you a booking reminder via text message
- confirm your appointment by text or phone as soon as possible.
If you can’t attend your appointment, please call us as soon as possible.
If you don’t confirm at least 2 business days before your appointment:
- your appointment will be automatically cancelled
- you will need to call the clinic to reschedule the appointment.
A $50 fee applies if:
- you cancel with less than 2 business days’ notice
- or do not attend your scheduled appointment with a Specialist or Allied Health professional.
The fees differ for appointments with General Practitioners. Please see below:
- 15 minute appointment – $50
- 30 minute appointment – $100
- 45 minute appointment – $150
- 1 hour appointment – $200.
Paying for your appointment
Our clinics are private billing. We don’t bulk-bill.
The clinicians working in our clinics are specially selected independent contractors and set their own fees. Find their fees on our clinician profile pages.
We require full payment on the day of your appointment.
- For telehealth appointments, we require payment details in advance to confirm your appointment. You’ll receive a link via a text message (SMS), which allows you to upload your credit or debit card details through HotDoc. You will be charged at the end of your telehealth consultation.
- With your consent, we will process your Medicare claim at the time of payment (if you are eligible for Medicare).
- All procedures include a consumables charge that isn’t covered by Medicare. For details, please speak with our reception team.
If you’re paying by card, we charge the following fees to cover bank costs.

- Mastercard Debit 0.35%
- Visa Credit 0.75%
- Visa Debit 0.35%
- Eftpos 0.25%
Communication policy
We’ll contact you by text message or email to confirm or update your appointment details.
- We do not send medical information via text or email.
- If your results need further explanation, we’ll call you directly or ask you to call us on 03 9562 7555 (unless your doctor has given you specific instructions otherwise).
