Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- define endometriosis and adenomyosis, including the symptoms and risk factors.
- describe the impact that endometriosis has on women in Australia
- explain how endometriosis is diagnosed, including the difference between clinical and definitive diagnosis
- identify the different ways to manage endometriosis and support patients in making informed decisions.

This course has been endorsed by the Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) and the Australian College of Midwives (ACM) for 1 hour of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Assessment and certification
- This course is assessed using multiple choice quizzes.
- A minimum passing score of 80% is required for each quiz.
