At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the different types of contraceptives available in Australia.
- Outline the indications for contraceptive medications, including both contraceptive and non-contraceptive uses.
- Describe the contemporary issues associated with contraception.
- Summarise how nurses and midwives contribute to informed decision-making regarding contraceptive options.
