Managing menopause in general practice – for GPs
The course helps GPs stay up to date with the latest evidence around the management of menopause and feel confident when providing patient-centred care.

- expected duration: 2 hours
- unlimited access for 3 months from the
- registration date.
This course has been developed in partnership with the Australian Menopause Society. It is offered at no cost thanks to funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.

- identify the stages of perimenopause and menopause, the variations of experience and presenting symptoms.
- integrate evidence-based advice on lifestyle and healthy ageing in menopause consultations.
- analyse the up-to-date evidence for non-hormonal therapies for menopause
- describe the benefits and risks of menopausal hormone therapy, of the full range of MHT options currently available in Australia.
If you are a RACGP or ACRRM member, please ensure that you provide your RACGP or ACRRM membership details when signing up for the course. This is an accredited activity:

This activity may be eligible for self-claim towards RANZCOG CPD requirements. See the RANZCOG website for details.
RACGP/ACRRM CPD hours and a certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of this course.
- This course is assessed using multiple choice quizzes.
- A minimum passing score of 80% is required for each quiz.
Your certificate of completion will be emailed to you by a member of our team within 5 business days of completing this course.
Understanding menopause – for nurses and midwives
This course is designed to help nurses and midwives improve their knowledge and understanding of menopause, including key management principles.
- self-paced, online
- expected duration: 5 hours and 30 minutes
- unlimited access for 3 months from the registration date.
- identify the signs and symptoms of PCOS
- apply the current diagnostic criteria to diagnose
- outline management options, including medical, nutritional and lifestyle advice
- identify the potential impacts on psychological health and wellbeing.

4.5 hours – Educational activities
