Peter has published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific papers from his research on different aspects of women's health, including endometriosis, menstrual disorders, uterine fibroids and infertility. Former appointments include Scientific Director, Monash IVF Program; President, Australian and New Zealand Microcirculation Society; Chair, Victorian Cancer Biobank; NHMRC Principal Research Fellow and Director, Centre for Women's Health Research at Monash University. (He is also the former National Testing Officer for the Cave Diving Association of Australia, and the current President of the Australian Salers Association)
Peter had the privilege of undertaking research with Jean Hailes in the late 1980's and is proud of the legacy that has now been established in Jean's name. The founding Directors' original philosophy of combining education, clinical care and research has endured to ensure that Jean Hailes for Women's Health delivers trusted and up to date health information that is available to all women and families in Australia.
