Learning outcomes

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • identify the stages of perimenopause and menopause, the variations of experience and presenting symptoms.
  • integrate evidence-based advice on lifestyle and healthy ageing in menopause consultations
  • analyse the up-to-date evidence for non-hormonal therapies for menopause
  • describe the benefits and risks of menopausal hormone therapy, of the full range of MHT options currently available in Australia.

This course has been developed in partnership with the Australian Menopause Society and is offered at no cost, thanks to funding from the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.
