Dr Marita Long

Dr Marita Long is a specialist women’s health general practitioner (GP) at Jean Hailes Brain Care Clinic in the Melbourne CBD.

Marita is a general practitioner with many years’ experience working with women and she has a special interest in brain and cognitive health. She aims to help women optimise their overall health and well being with a particular focus on brain health and dementia risk reduction. Many factors can impact on our memory, thinking and attention. If you have noticed any changes or have any general concerns about your brain health it is really important to have a brain health check.

When she’s not at work, Marita enjoys pilates, gardening, preserving their home grown produce. More recently she is learning about regenerative farming. Marita enjoys spending time socialising with friends and family and is embracing the role as a Nanna!
