The 2022 Jean Hailes National Women's Health Survey was conducted in March-May and attracted over 14,000 respondents. For the first time in its seven year history, it was translated into Chinese (simplified), Arabic and Vietnamese.
This year’s survey focused on the pandemic, providing the most up-to-date snapshot of how women in Australia are faring in a ‘COVID-19 normal’ environment. Alarmingly, over 40% of women said their physical and mental health has deteriorated since the pandemic began, regardless of whether they have had COVID-19 or not.
