The bladder is an organ in your body that stores wee (urine) before it passes out of the body. Good bladder health helps you maintain bladder control and reduces the risk of bladder problems, including urinary incontinence.

It’s common for women to have bladder problems at different stages in life, for example, after having a baby, during perimenopause and after menopause.
