Clinic update:

The health and wellbeing of the community is very important to Jean Hailes.

From Monday, 30 March, our clinics will be operating as a remote Telehealth service. Telehealth is where you have a consultation with your clinician via video conference on your phone or computer, or talk to your clinician on the phone.

This type of consultation can be just as effective as a face to face consultation and you can do it from your home, privately and easily.

For more information on how Telehealth works, please read the attached link.

A Jean Hailes receptionist will arrange a booking for you, just like a standard face to face consultation. Fees remain unchanged from prior practice, however our general practitioners are offering bulk billing for concession card holders, children under 16 and people who are vulnerable to COVID-19.

COVID-19 vulnerable patients are those who:

  • are required to self-isolate or are in self-quarantine
  • are at least 70 years old
  • identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander descent who are at least 50 years old
  • are pregnant
  • are a parent of a child aged under 12 months
  • have an established chronic disease management plan (conditions apply, Jean Hailes receptionists can provide more information on this)
  • are immune compromised
  • have suspected COVID-19 infection.

We are experiencing high volumes of calls to our clinics at present. We would appreciate it if you could email us to make an appointment (please include your name and preferred date and time in your email). We will prioritise responding to your email. To make an appointment email us at [email protected]. Or call us on 03 9562 7555 or 1800 JEAN HAILES (532 642).
