Managing menopause (CLOSED)

This e-learning course has been developed to improve health professionals’ knowledge and understanding of menopause and its management.

It covers the following points:

  • signs and symptoms
  • diagnosis and assessment
  • a guide to consultation
  • key principles of management and treatment
  • benefits and risks of treatment options (including MHT, complementary therapies and non-hormonal therapies).

The course aims to assist health professionals to provide well-informed, up-to-date advice and treatment in the care and management of menopausal women.

Duration and general information

The course should take about 4-5 hours to complete.

However, all course activities do not need to be completed in one session; once an activity has been completed, participants can stop and start the next activity later.

Cost

While our new third party e-learning platform provides an enhanced learning experience, it also has associated fees for every user participating in our courses. To help Jean Hailes cover the increased costs of the e-learning platform, from March 2021, learners will need to pay $20.00 for each course they wish to complete.

All other education that Jean Hailes provides such as webinars and tools will remain free to access.
