  • priority access to order the 2024 Women’s Health Week bags (while stocks last)

  • free promotional kits and materials, including social media tiles, a poster and invitation templates

  • priority access to Jean Hailes webinars.

I’ve never hosted an event before. Can you give me some ideas?

Women’s Health Week events can be face-to-face or online, social or educational. As long as there is a focus on women’s health and wellbeing, the sky’s the limit. Some people host morning teas, community walks, seminars or yoga sessions. We recommend choosing something you would love to do yourself.

How do I register an event?

After 6 May, visit the Register your event page and complete the form. Be sure to have your event details on hand, such as the event date, time, location and whether it will be private or public. Make sure you check your inbox for a confirmation email. If you need help filling in the registration form, call us on 03 9453 8999.

Tip: If you don’t receive an email immediately, check your junk email folder. If it’s still missing, give us a call.

I want to support Women’s Health Week but I can’t host an event. What can I do?

If you can’t host an event, we still welcome your support. You can register to promote Women’s Health Week to your community. Simply visit the Register your event page and select the ‘I'm only promoting’ option at the bottom of the form.

Will everyone see my event details online?

You can choose to make your event public or private. If you make it public, it will appear on our Attend an event page. If your event is being held at your home, we recommend making it private.

I haven’t finished planning my event, do I have to register it now?

Don’t worry, registrations close 30 August 2024. For ticketed events we recommend registering as soon as your information is ready, so people have time to book.

Can I order bags if I’m not a host?

No. Bags are only available to registered event hosts.

How do I order Women’s Health Week bags?

Bag orders open in May 2024. If you've registered an event or subscribes to our newsletter, we'll let you know as soon as they are available.

How much do the bags cost?

Bags are provided to event hosts free of charge, but postage and handling fees apply. Orders are calculated on weight, postage, packaging and handling (GST not included).

Please contact [email protected] or 03 9453 8999 if costs are of concern.

How will my bags be delivered?

When ordering your bags, please supply a valid and up-to-date address.

Bags will be dispatched with ‘authority to leave’, so if you’re not home, please ensure you have a safe place available for the delivery to be left.

If there is no one at home during business hours, consider having your delivery sent to your workplace.

If you’re using a PO Box, your order will be sent via Australia Post and can take up to eight to 10 days to deliver.

Is there anything in the bags?

Resources are not provided with the bags. Please visit the Jean Hailes Shop to order print materials or download online resources for free via our Resource guide. Postage and handling fees apply to all print materials.

When will my bags arrive?

After placing your order, bags are dispatched within one to three business days. Please allow five to 10 business days for your order to arrive.

My bags haven’t arrived. What should I do?

If your bags have not arrived, please email [email protected] with your order number, and we will contact our distributor.

What happens if I cancel my event after ordering bags?

Unfortunately, we are unable to process any refunds or cancellations once an order has been placed and paid. If you need to cancel your event and don’t wish to use the bags, please consider donating them to your local healthcare clinic or community centre for them to distribute during Women’s Health Week.

What if I want to order a different quantity of bags?

To keep delivery costs as low as possible, our bags come pre-packed in bundles of 20, 50 and 100. If you need 65 bags, for example, you will need to order one pack of 20 and one pack of 50.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

If you need to change your shipping address after you have placed an order for bags, please contact us at [email protected] or via 03 9453 8999 within 24 hours of placing your order. We can update shipping address and postal details only until Friday 30 July. Once orders have been processed for delivery, we are unable to make further changes.

I live in a rural community. Can I still order and receive bags?

Bags can be delivered Australia-wide. Just keep in mind that they may take a little longer to arrive.

I’ve missed out on the bags! Should I still have an event?

Supporting women’s health is important and can still be done without the bags. Due to the ever-growing number of events and limited stock, there is a chance that we may run out earlier than expected. But don’t worry, we have a range of excellent and free Jean Hailes resources for you to print and use. Visit the Jean Hailes Shop or our Resources.
