Sharryn Muir is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and is an approved Supervisor for the Psychology Board of Australia. Sharryn has worked in private practice for the last two decades. Sharryn specialises in PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder).
Sharryn draws on DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), an approach she finds very helpful for the women she works with. She has a warm and empathetic approach, with an emphasis on support in addition to providing skills, techniques and strategies for effective change.
Sharryn is the mother of two young adults and enjoys yoga, swimming and the outdoors.
