Gillian Needleman

BA, POST Grad Dip Ad, CH Psych M.A (Counselling)

Gillian is a warm, caring and experienced psychologist with 26 years of experience in public and private mental health services, organisational settings and independent private practice. She has a special interest in women’s health and anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, trauma related difficulties, relationship difficulties and hormonal based conditions. She uses cognitive based interventions and mindfulness approaches and her therapy is engaging, conversational and pragmatic. She works collaboratively to achieve here and now changes in emotional, physical and interpersonal wellbeing and provides clients with lasting insights and skills.

Gillian is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Fellow of the APS Clinical College and she is committed to the ethical standards of the APS.
