This booklet and toolkit provide easy to understand information on menopause, developed specially for First Nations women.
The booklet has been developed for First Nations women and covers what is menopause, when and why it happens, changes in periods, symptoms and after menopause.
The toolkit and powerpoint presentation have been designed to help health professionals and other health workers educate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women about the importance of staying healthy during and after menopause. The presentation explains what menopause is, why it happens, how to deal with menopausal symptoms and how to stay healthy during and after menopause.
