Jean Hailes for Women's Health is thrilled to announce Fernwood Fitness as a Major Partner and Optus as a Sponsor of 2017 Women's Health Week.

Now in its fifth year, Women's Health Week will run this year from 4-8 September, with more than 25,000 women and organisations expected to participate in community, corporate and online events.

"We are delighted to welcome both Fernwood Fitness and Optus as major supporters of this important week," said Janet Michelmore, Executive Director, Jean Hailes for Women's Health.

"We want all women to be the healthiest they can be, which includes taking time out of their busy schedules to talk about their health during Women's Health Week. It is through the generous support of organisations such as Fernwood Fitness and Optus that we can help women take control of their health."

Diana Williams, Fernwood Fitness founder and CEO, says Fernwood Fitness is thrilled to be a Major Partner for Women's Health Week.

"We are excited to be helping spread the message about the importance of making good health and wellbeing a priority in the lives of all Australian women," Ms Williams says.

Geoff Hoad, Director Workplace Health & Safety at Optus said: "Optus is proud to be a sponsor of Women's Health Week and to play a small but important role in communicating the importance of wellness to Australian women."

"Our partnership with Jean Hailes also enables us to enhance the wellbeing of our employees by delivering health education sessions at our Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney campuses."
