Translating health information for women

Jean Hailes news 30 Jan 2023

At Jean Hailes for Women's Health, we consult and collaborate with other health organisations, communities and health service providers to develop practical resources for all women, including those from migrant and refugee communities. Translating our resources into community languages allows more women access to the information they need to better look after their health and find the right support.

Translated stakeholder packs

We have created stakeholder packs in Arabic, Burmese, Chinese (Simplified), Dari, Farsi, Hindi, Karen, Nuer and Vietnamese. They showcase the educational and translated resources we have available for women from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The packs include translated social media tiles and copy so organisations and health professionals can easily promote the resources in language to the diverse communities they work with. This promotion will help women find important health information.
