Flinders University, based in Adelaide, South Australia, is conducting a research study on fertility and family planning. The School of Medicine is calling for Australian men and women who do not have children, to complete an anonymous online survey which will take 15 minutes or less.

This study is part of a project entitled Australians' perceptions of fertility and attitudes towards ovarian reserve testing. This project aims to:

  • investigate Australian men and women's views of the change in female fertility with increasing age
  • determine what factors influence both men and women’s decision regarding when to start a family
  • as well as their views regarding the potential benefits and risks of ovarian reserve testing for 'reproductive life planning'

Ovarian reserve testing refers to medical assessments which may identify those women experiencing premature 'ageing' of their ovaries.

Be part of the study and take the 15 minute online survey.

If you have any questions or wish to talk to someone about the study, please contact Ms Alisha Thompson at Flinders University on 08 8204 6676.
