Self breast check

Our free health articles cover a different women's health issue each month and may be reprinted in your organisation's newsletter, blog or website at no cost. Here is this month's topic:

Breast health: what's normal and what changes to look out for

When it comes to breast health, the important thing to learn is what's normal for you. We spoke to Jean Hailes specialist Dr Sonia Davison to learn what breast changes are to be expected throughout life and when you should seek advice from a health professional.

Guidelines for using free health articles

If you do need to make any cuts or other edits, we ask that you please email Jo Roberts, Health Content Manager at [email protected], a final copy before publication. The reason for this is that we carefully review all information and, as you will appreciate, it is easy for information to be taken out of context and meanings changed or compromised.

These guidelines are designed to give organisations clear direction in using agreed-upon information written by Jean Hailes for Women's Health. Jean Hailes makes these women's health articles available to various organisations, including health and community groups, for publication online and in newsletters for non-commercial, nonprofit, educational purposes only.

In line with Australian copyright laws, we require that you acknowledge the articles to Jean Hailes as follows:

Published with the permission of Jean Hailes for Women's Health

We would also appreciate if you would include our website address jeanhailes.org.au and our tollfree telephone number 1800 JEAN HAILES (532 642) for women seeking further health information, as shown in each document.

Download the detailed guidelines for more information on how to use the article in your organisation's publications.
