Welcome to the Jean Hailes medical centres.
Jean Hailes at Maryvale Private Hospital (Gippsland) is only available for telehealth appointments at this time. Bookings available from 3 November 2022.
With the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing, we continue to offer telehealth consultations to all women, whether you are in local, rural, remote or regional areas of Australia. Telehealth is where you have a consultation with your clinician via video conference on your phone or computer, or talk to your clinician on the phone. Telehealth enables women to access Jean Hailes women's health staff and specialists, wherever they are. For more information on how telehealth works, please read the attached link.
The health and wellbeing of the community is very important to Jean Hailes and we have strict practices in place in our clinics. If you have any symptoms relating to COVID-19 we ask that you quarantine at home and call us to talk about your health needs.
A Jean Hailes receptionist will arrange a booking for you, for either a standard face-to-face consultation or a telehealth consultation. Fees remain unchanged from prior practice.
If you have an in-person appointment but would like to transfer to a telehealth appointment please call East Melbourne on 03 9562 7555 and Clayton on 03 9562 7555. The offices are fully staffed and your call will be answered.
Please note we are not an accredited vaccine centre, and therefore cannot administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
