Dr Anju Joham is an endocrinologist at Southern Health and a PhD student at the Jean Hailes Research Unit. Her main area of research is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and more specifically the interplay between obesity, insulin resistance/diabetes risk and polycystic ovary syndrome. Anju has presented her work both locally and nationally. Anju has a strong interest in women’s health and preventive medicine. She is also involved with educational activities with the Jean Hailes education unit and in teaching of undergraduate medical students at Monash University.
