Fees
Fees charged will vary according to the type of consultation, ie. length, complexity, involvement of procedures and what type of clinician you see (eg. GP, specialist). Individual doctors may also vary their fees.
This practice does NOT routinely bulk bill. Some patients may be charged the Government Schedule Fee, however this is at the discretion of the treating doctor and should be discussed at the time of the consultation. Others with financial difficulties should discuss this with the doctor at the time of their first visit.
A rebate can be claimed from Medicare and as the government Medicare system dictates there is usually a gap between doctors fees and the amount that Medicare will reimburse you. This will result in an out of pocket expense to you.
Payment is required at the time of consultation, after which you can claim your rebate from Medicare. You may pay with cash or Eftpos.
