Community webcast: Making your 40s fabulous
It’s back – our free online community webcast returns!
Due to the outstanding success of our 2008 community webcast (Life begins at menopause?), the Foundation is proud to announce that we will be presenting a new webcast – Making your 40s fabulous – Your hormones – Your libido – Your health on Wednesday 1 September 2010.
This event will focus on a range of issues affecting women in their perimenopausal years such as physical and hormonal changes, sleep, stress, emotional health and libido. We will also look at ways of maintaining your health beyond your 40s.
Webstreaming technology will allow women to watch and hear the experts in the comfort of their own home. Why not ask your local community centre to host an event so women can watch together? A local health professional may be able to facilitate the evening and answer questions on the night. All that’s required is access to the internet, computer speakers and an email address where you, or your group, will be on the night of the webcast.
To remain informed about the webcast event over the coming months, please register your interest at www.jeanhailes.org.au
National magazine survey
What are your health needs and what are you interested to read about in a health magazine? We want to keep on being relevant and keeping you up to date on a range of health issues that will both inform and inspire you on your journey to better health.
That is why we are conducting an online survey about our national magazine. You can complete the survey anonymously if you wish, but we will need your contact details if you would like to go in the draw to win an Accor Gift Card valued at $250 which can be used at more than 135 hotels, resorts and apartments throughout Australia, Fiji and New Zealand.
To complete the survey go to www.jeanhailes.org.au
If you would prefer to complete a paper copy of the survey, call us tollfree on 1800 151 441. The survey closes on 25 June 2010.
Please note: the information collected will only be used by the Foundation (in strict accordance with the privacy laws).
