The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health is able to provide professional development opportunities for medical practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals through a variety of personally designed one hour presentations to one day workshops.

Available speakers include gynaecologists, endocrinologists, general practitioners, psychologists, natural therapists and physiotherapists with special interest and expertise in women’s midlife health.

Presentations may include (but are not limited to): :

  • Diabetes & cardiovascular risks related to women at midlife
  • Emotional/sexual/relationships for woman at midlife
  • Endometriosis
  • Hormone Therapy – risks, benefits, controversies
  • Menopause
  • Naturopathic therapies and complementary therapies
  • Nutrition and lifestyle
  • Osteoporosis and bone health at midlife
  • Premature menopause
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome

The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health is an RACGP accredited provider. Presentations and programs can also be accredited by ACRRM.

The Foundation provides professional development for health professionals through a range of other programs such as, supervised clinical attachments and accredited online educational activities.
