National Initiatives
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) has established a National Centre for Monitoring Arthritis and Muskulosceletal Conditions to follow the impact of these conditions and the outcomes of management and prevention strategies. The centre monitors and reports in particular on the four focus areas of osteoarthritis, juvenile arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.
