Prediabetes, diabetes and heart disease
The Foundation’s Research Unit is looking for volunteers aged 50 to 75 to participate in an important research project looking at prediabetes, diabetes and blood vessel or vascular complications.
We are seeking volunteers who are:
- Healthy (or have pre-diabetes) and not on any medications for pre-diabetes, and/or
- Are overweight or have a family history of type 2 diabetes.

Menopause after breast cancer
The Foundation’s Research Unit is looking for Victoria-based volunteers for a study looking at the emotional wellbeing and attitudes towards health in women with breast cancer who have undergone an earlier menopause. We are also looking for partners of these women, to study their experiences also.
If you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and menopause and are aged between 40-50 years (or you are the partner of someone going through this experience) and would like to know more about this study:

PCOS, diabetes and heart disease
The Foundation’s Research Unit is looking for female volunteers to take part in a study assessing cardiovascular disease and diabetes risk.
We are looking for women aged between 18-45 years who are:
a) above average weight and have irregular periods, excessive hair growth or polycystic ovary syndrome, or;
b) above average weight and have normal periods.
