Get a sneak preview of local fashion icon, The Ark Clothing Company’s summer range of clothing at Kazari Japanese Collectors Gallery in Prahran on Wednesday October 22.
All proceeds from the launch of The Ark’s new summer range will go to leading Australian health organisation, the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women’s Health. The Foundation takes a broad, holistic approach to women’s health, offering research, clinical healthcare, and education for women and health professionals Australia-wide.
The Ark Clothing Company is well known to Melbournian women who appreciate its philosophy of stocking a great range of mix and match clothing that changes constantly, as well as beautifully themed items including jewellery and accessories. “We aim to make each visit a positive and pleasant shopping experience for women,” says Kerry Alderccio, Operations Manager at The Ark. “We aim to help women find the style that best suits their shape.”
Speaking at the launch on the topic of menopause, Jean Hailes gynaecologist Dr Elizabeth Farrell says, “The Ark – a name synonymous with quality women’s clothing on the Melbourne fashion scene – is giving back to the women who buy their clothes. By supporting this fabulous event you’ll get to take part in a wonderful evening focusing on fashion, and you’ll be supporting a fantastic cause.”
Book for this event on 9822 1166. Entry is $120 and includes food, wine and live entertainment – all proceeds go to the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women’s Health towards women’s health research and education.
