Prescribing Hormone Therapy: Weighing up the evidence

Hormone Therapy (HT) has been used to effectively relieve symptoms in women for whom quality of life is affected by moderate to severe symptoms. However, in the wake of the results of the Women's Health Initiative Study looking at the long term use of oral HT in older women for disease prevention, there are concerns which need to be evaluated and understood.
