Community webcast available now

On Wednesday 5 March women across Australia logged on to our first community webcast Life begins at menopause? Some of your comments about the webcast were:

“At least now I know I am NORMAL!!!”

“I learnt more last night than in the 16 years I have been struggling with Menopause. Thank you very much.”

"I enjoyed this webcast and extend my congratulations to you all for such a fabulous community initiative."

The archive version of Life begins at menopause? is available for viewing at www.jeanhailes.org.au/content/view/405/563/

Questions from the webcast may be reviewed at www.jeanhailes.org.au/content/view/444/568/

Endometriosis website launch

The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health is proud to launch a new website about endometriosis at www.endometriosis.org.au (formerly maintained by the Endometriosis Association Victoria).

Endometriosis is a common and often painful condition. It is thought to affect approximately one in 10 women at some stage during their menstruating years. It can occur anytime, from when periods start, right up to the time of menopause.

The new website contains information about symptoms, diagnosis, treatments, pregnancy/infertility and personal stories.

If you would like to share your story about endometriosis go to
Endometriosis Feedback.
