Background

Turner’s syndrome (TS) is the most common genetic disorder affecting women. 

Researchers from the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women’s Health, Monash University, and Southern Health are currently recruiting women to be involved in research into Turner’s syndrome.

Researchers are looking for women aged 18 and above who have TS and women who don’t have any genetic disorder to act as a comparison group. If you fit into one of these categories and would like to learn more about our research, you are invited to register your interest.

Researchers will be investigating different aspects of thinking processes, both using pencil and paper type tasks and using activities for you to do whilst you have an MRI scan. Participants with TS will be asked to give a saliva sample for genetic analysis.

Your participation in the project will take about three to four hours, which you can choose to do in a single session or spread over two or more days. 

You will be reimbursed $50 for your parking and transport costs.
