Mandy Hudson
Project Manager, Community Education

Mandy has a background in teaching and many years experience in facilitating sexuality education sessions for young people and professional development training for health educators.

Mandy's early work at the Foundation involved designing, managing and facilitating the adolescent sexual health program which ran for five years. Following the completion of that program Mandy has been involved in the development of a midlife resource kit for health professionals, run ‘train the trainer’ workshops for health professionals, and managed the metropolitan community seminars and education projects in partnership with the Australian Education Union and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Currently Mandy manages both the national community and health professional seminar program in collaboration with local agencies and the multicultural women's health program.  

Stephenie Cook
Project Manager, Professional Development

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

Stephenie joined the Foundation in February 2006 after several years in the welfare sector and more recently in project/program development. She has experience in both the government and non-government sectors and brings with her extensive knowledge related to the development and facilitation of adult education programs and project management.

Aleeza Zohar
Senior Communications Officer, Editor Jean Hailes National Magazine

Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies)
Diploma in Public Relations

Aleeza joined the Education Unit in 2001 and brings strong written, communication, media and public relations skills developed over 15 years working in the Non-government Organisations sector.

Aleeza is actively promoting the many and varied activities of the Foundation and helping staff to deliver their messages widely in the community. This includes media relations, campaigns, releases, advertising, monitoring and evaluation. She also manages information and quality assurance of website content and is responsible for producing the Jean Hailes National Magazine, which has a circulation of 75,000. 

Wendy Davis
Operations Manager

Master Education (Adult Education)
Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Science)
Executive MBA

Wendy brings a breadth of experience to her role as Operations Manager for the Foundation. Wendy began her career as a medical scientist in regional Australia prior to working in Harley St, UK, and Fairfield Infectious Diseases Hospital in Victoria.

After roles as the National Training and Development Manager for two of Australia's largest pharmaceutical companies, Wendy moved to internal consulting within the NSW area health services, prior to joining a national Managemnent Consulting firm. Wendy eventually moved into the Global Financial Services sector as a Director of Human Resources for the Asian Pacific Region and a core member of the organisation's International Human Resources Steering Committee.  

Kellie Armstrong
Project Officer, Community Education and Professional Development

Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics - Honours) / Bachelor of Education

Kellie is a trained primary teacher with a background in primary and adult education, community development and events management.  She joined the Foundation in 2003 and has been involved with a number of programs including the Community Education Program, National Community Seminars, Professional Development for Overseas Trained Doctors, Supervised Clinical Attachments, and coordination of community resources. Her current responsibilities include online education programs for both the community and health professionals.

Kellie is an Endorsed Provider for professional development with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Erin Bevege
Project Officer, Community Education and Communications

Bachelor of Arts (English/History majors)

Erin joined the team early in 2007 and has since been involved in a multitude of projects ranging from community seminars to resource development.

Erin has sound writing and editing skills and is currently involved in maintaining and developing the Foundation’s websites and fact sheets alongside helping to produce the Jean Hailes National Magazine.  

Carolyn Wall
Project Officer, Community Education and Professional Development

Carolyn joined the Foundation in May 2007, bringing with her a diverse range of skills developed through a number of years spent working in the field of medical administration.

Carolyn works on an extensive range of education projects for both the community and health professionals, including the National Seminar Program, Supervised Clinical Attachments, Professional Development Day and the Community Education Program. Carolyn is also PA to Foundation Director, Janet Michelmore. 

Lauren Bartley
Project Officer, Education and Policy Development

Lauren officially joined the Education Unit as an employee in August 2008, having previously volunteered and completed work placements at the Foundation.

Lauren is currently working on a range of education and policy development projects and is in the final stages of completing a double degree in Nursing and Applied Science (Health Promotion).

Emily Reardon 
Project Officer, Community Education and Communications

Bachelor of Biomedical Science

Emily joined the Foundation in December 2008 after several years working in laboratory-based healthcare, both in Australia and the UK.

Emily is in the final stages of completing a Master of Arts (Professional Communication), with a focus on public relations. She is currently working on a range of projects including reviewing and updating the Foundation's websites, assisting with the Community Education and National Seminar Programs and helping to produce the Jean Hailes National Magazine.
