Our Program

The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health Community Education Program (CEP) provides speakers to deliver information sessions on a range of women's health topics.

Information sessions are:  

  • presented by one of our specifically trained health educators
  • suitable for community groups, women's clubs, health professional groups, and workplace groups
  • one hour in duration (45 minute power point presentation and 15 minute Q&A)
  • informal and friendly
  • for groups of 20-100
  • available across metropolitan and regional Victoria

1. Midlife Health and Wellbeing

  • Healthy lifestyle/health screenings
  • Menopause:
    - What is menopause?
    - Managing symptoms (lifestyle, hormone therapy (HT), natural therapies)

2. General Health and Wellbeing

  • Healthy lifestyle/health screenings
  • Specific health topics:
    - Cardiovascular health
    - Diabetes
    - Osteoporosis
    - Incontinence

3. Osteoporosis: Maintaining Healthy Bones

  • What is Osteoporosis?
  • Who is at risk?
  • Prevention and management
