The Education Unit has a firm belief that health promotion and disease prevention messages must be easily accessible to all women. Our goal of creating behavioural change for better outcomes utilises community development and adult learning strategies to assist each individual woman to the make informed, evidence-based decisions about their health management.

Drawing upon some of the finest educators, researchers and clinicians in this country, the Education Unit translates the latest research findings into practical health and lifestyle approaches. We collaborate and develop links with organisations from the community, health professional and business sectors. A selection of medium and language to respect women's cultural sensitivities are specific features in our production and delivery of programs and resources.
