Speakers for Community Groups - Community Education Program
Information sessions are:
- presented by one of our specifically trained health educators
- suitable for community groups, women’s clubs, health professional groups, and workplace groups
- one hour in duration (45 minute power point presentation and 15 minute Q&A)
- informal and friendly
- for groups of 10-100
- available across metropolitan and regional Victoria

Women's Reference Group
The Women's Reference Group provides information and advice from a consumer perspective, which enhances the role and work of The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health.
The Group aims to be broadly representative of a range of women from the community and is made up of women aged between 45-65 who are mid-life or peri-menopausal.
Recruiting methods targeted:
-
women who have attended previous workshops,
-
The Jean Hailes Foundation for Women's Health volunteers,
-
women from culturally diverse background, and
-
"professional consumers".
It is a politically neutral group and not a vehicle for other organisations' agendas.
