Focus on Midlife
Women are invited to learn about midlife health at an information session run by The Jean Hailes Foundation, together with Sunbury Community Health Centre, at 7.00pm on Thursday 2nd September at the Sunbury Community Health Centre.
Sunbury Community Health Nurse, Helen Hill, encourages women to attend this session. “Because of the demand this is now an annual event in Sunbury, and is a great opportunity for women to get up to date, accurate midlife health information,” she said, adding, “You’ll hear about the symptoms and strategies to manage menopause, including a range of natural therapy options.”
Jean Hailes Naturopath and speaker on the night, Sandra Villella, encourages women not to self-prescribe, “but to see a trained natural therapist who can work with the individual woman’s needs.”
The Jean Hailes Foundation - renowned specialists in women’s health at midlife - has a long record of running women's health programs.
