Women warned to take cardiac symptoms to heart
A study from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and UBC School of Nursing has found that contrary to popular belief, women experience many of the same typical heart attack symptoms as men, including chest pain, shortness of breath, arm discomfort, sweating, nausea, clammy skin and indigestion-like symptoms. This contradicts previous beliefs based on studies which claimed women did not experience chest pain or other typical heart attack symptoms, as frequently as men.
