Jean Hailes connects with women from all walks of life who may have, on occasion, extraordinary health needs.
We recognise that two million women live in regional, rural and remote Australia without access to the health services and information of their urban sisters.
We provide education programs for both the community and the health professionals by taking resources out to rural and remote communities. There is a variety of media used to deliver health messages and support including personal visits, distance education programs and electronic programs via webcast. Jean Hailes is delighted to collaborate with community and health professional groups around Australia working on women's health issues.
